GCATbio has developed a proprietary DNA probe design tool, ingeniously integrating the advantages of traditional flat design and novel tile design, further enhancing capture efficiency. Simultaneously, they innovatively established a probe evaluation mechanism based on off-target penalty and cross-dimer penalty, enabling the classification of each probe's off-target risk. This allows the probe design platform to automatically identify, avoid, and optimize probes with higher off-target risk, thereby improving on-target rates during the design phase.

Customized Multi-cancer Detection Panel
GCATbio provides an IVD company with a customized panel service for screening multiple cancers. The Panel size is 346 kb, covering 1460 target sites, including 210 indels and 91 RNA fusion sites. Based on GCATbio's unique probe design tool, a total of 3034 probes were designed. Sequencing results showed excellent probe uniformity, with an overall coverage rate of 99.1% and an on-target rate of 82%.
